It began in 1974 as Crystal Unicorn Gallery, my Raggedy Ann and Andy doll business.
After years of selling by word of mouth, at craft shows and malls, and in consignment
stores. We have a Yahoo store at www.theraggedyannlady.com
The Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls made by CHC have been sent all over the United
States, and around the world to China, Japan, and Germany. The 20" dolls weigh less
than one pound each, so a pair can be shipped for about $8.00 by Priority Mail and
UPS. FedEX shipping is available upon request, the fee is quite expensive.
Raggedy Ann and Andy style dolls make good "dressing" decor in bedrooms for that
home you are trying to sell. On the homes for sale cable channels, we recently saw
several houses with Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls in the bedroom as set decorating.
Raggedy Ann dolls have been seen on beds in magazine articles and ads, on TV, in
theatre productions, and in movies. Our dolls would make a good addition to any
advertising campaign!
Raggedy Ann and Andy make a unique and unexpected gift of folk art for any and all
occasions. Each doll takes approximately a day to complete, from cutting out the doll
parts to hand drawn and embroidered faces, stuffing, hand sewing the hair, to sewing
the clothes and finally photographing the dolls for the Internet. All steps are done by
Cathy with nothing contracted out to any one else and each doll is signed.

demands of our full time jobs and our family needs, all dolls and clothes will be
"crafter's choice".

Andy wears an eyelet tuxedo style shirt, inspired by the James Bond movies I watched as I sewed these dolls, trimmed with pearlized plastic
heart buttons and fine edging lace. His red velvet pants are trimmed with real Akoya pearl shell buttons.

These dolls were a custom order from employees of an employment agency for the
owner's birthday gift. The hair is really fuchia! The hair color and clothing color is
meant to match the company stationary, which was white with a fuchia stripe and a blue
stripe under the name of the company. Annie is wearing an eyelett apron and panties.
